The vessel had a damaged container from cargo hold two whilst being berthed at Eurogate (Hamburg). The container containing charcoal was discharged as a precaution and has been successfully dealt with by the port fire fighting forces - this post was released 20 minutes ago.M.V. Several hundred passengers from the vessel were stranded for several hours after a bomb scare was received. After investigate the vessel was deemed to be safe and no threat found.
