Customs UCC/AEO Update 20th November 2015

With effect from the 1st January 2016 anyone involved in customs clearance duties  must be able to demonstrate they have evidence of this as they will be  judged competent  on the basis of records and information that is made available.

Staff with less than three years' experience must undertake a recongnised qualification of learning issued in the state they are working.  This will include  COAST Level 2, 3 and 5 - International Trade and Logistics Operations Diploma

We also recommend that if you are AEOC or AEOF approved  you will need to ensure your sub-contractors are complying with these new regulations.

Felixstowe Trade College has made available a helpline which will provide information relevant to your company or work: Tel 01394 458554. In addition access to our new website  'live chat' system will be available  www.felixstowe-ac.co.uk
