Vessel News

Sinking of vessel

The "Fong Kuo No. 869" sank off Kaohsiung on Sep 29, 2015. Kaohsiung Harbour began allowing vessels to resume entry and exit at 5:30 p.m., following the lifting of a sea warning for Typhoon Dujuan, which barreled through Taiwan the previous night. The vessel veered off course, listed and sank at around 6 p.m. Coastguard boats,assisted by helicopters as well as a nearby freighter who picked up 21 of the crew, while the remaining crew were picked up by other vessels

Cagliari under the escort of two patrol boats of the Guardia di Finanza. Locals believed that the vessel may have been suspected in contraband trafficking, arms, or drugs

Queen Mary 2’s Queens and Princess Grill suites and restaurants will enhancements in May and June, 2016. This will allow the vessel to enhance her classic art deco style.



















Captain arrested for drunken sailing
The  captain of the "Tonic Sea" was arrested by North Jutland police about eight miles north of Hirtshals in the noght of Sep 28, 2015, and was charged for drunken navigation
