EU - Near new EU trade offer to Paraguay

Four south American countries hope to relaunch stalled negotiations on a free trade deal with the European Union next month, Paraguay's President Horacio Cartes told AFP.

Israeli fury over EU settlement product labels

The European Union on Wednesday backed the labelling of products from Israeli settlements, sparking fresh tensions with a furious Israel, which said the move could harm the peace process with the Palestinians.

With effect from the 1st January 2016 the new UCC codes will be introduced  be in stages with eventual link by HMRC to EU customs.  Additional information will be requied in box 44 of the entry to confirm the HS code has a BTI.  Organisations that hold AEO(C) will start to see the benefits of their due diligence.
