The EU's competition regulator has launched an investigatoin into the proposed sale of Telefonica's O2 business unit  to a Hong Kong investment company as this would create Britain's biggest mobile operator.


South Sudan rivals blooking aid to high risk famine zones

Rival South Sudanese forces are blocking aid to war zone areas where thousands are already starving to death, the United States and European Union warned Friday.


Airbus Helicopters agrees deal with China worth EUR 750m

Airbus Helicopters said Friday it has signed a letter of intent for the sale of 100 H135 helicopters to China and the construction of an assembly plant there.



Eurozone inflation

Eurozone inflation rose to zero per cent and out of negative territory in October, official data showed Friday, but the level is still low and will press the European Central Bank to pump up its stimulus.


Peace talks are underway with 17 of the EU countries including the UN

Izmir Port Turkey

Etlim container port in Turkey’s Izmir city, which is currently under construction, will be commissioned in spring of 2016.

The initial capacity of the port will be 1.5 million TEU.  The Dutch company APM Terminals, will  manage the port for 28 years while the port will belong to Turkey
